How our programs connect

One visual map of our recreational side (preschool and academy), performance, and competitive team—so parents see the journey and staff can speak the same language about progressions, evaluations, and showcases.

Journey at a glance

One path from preschool into academy + performance together—most athletes add both at the same time (performance as the second weekly class, with academy). Then come showcases and team by invitation. Scroll the diagram into view to trace the path.

Program journey sequence:

  1. Preschool
  2. Academy and performance together
  3. Team by invitation

Three paths, one gym family

Preschool

Our recreational program includes preschool and academy—the academy path is the center column.

Kinder Gym Beginner → intermediate → advanced in preschool. Great first experience on the floor.
Girls / boys recreational Beginner → intermediate → advanced. Natural next step after Kinder Gym for many athletes.
Ready for more? When it fits your athlete, academy (recreational) adds structured skill progressions; performance adds a second focused class each week.

Academy

The other recreational track—parallel to preschool—before performance enters the mix.

Girls / boys academy — beginner Foundation skills and class structure. Moving up to the next academy level uses a move-up evaluation with Coach Ben.
Girls / boys academy — intermediate Continued progression. Academy level and performance level do not have to move in lockstep—your coach will guide timing.
Girls / boys academy — advanced Higher-skill curriculum; still paired with performance for athletes on that track.

Performance

Second class each week Performance is tied to an academy enrollment. We recommend performance as the second weekly class so training stays balanced and fun.
Levels 1–4 Separate girls’ and boys’ performance tracks. Athletes typically begin at Performance Level 1 when they join academy beginner on the track that fits them.
Moving up in performance Advancement is decided at showcase scoring—not the same day as Coach Ben’s academy evaluations.
Why academy and performance can move at different speeds
An athlete might move to girls’ or boys’ academy intermediate while staying in Performance Level 1 until the next move-up showcase—then progress to Level 2 when scores and coaches agree it’s time.

Showcases (four times a year)

Our year follows Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer showcase moments. Across the year: two are move-up showcases (performance level decisions) and two focus on performance—still a big stage experience, with less promotion pressure. Official dates and session details are the same events our team lists in the director portal under Events → Showcases—your coach and the front desk will share what applies to your athlete.

Move-up focus

Fall — move-up showcase

Performance levels may advance based on showcase scores and coach recommendation.

Performance

Winter — performance showcase

Athletes perform for family and friends; emphasis on presentation and confidence.

Move-up focus

Spring — move-up showcase

Next opportunity for performance level progression after scores are reviewed.

Performance

Summer — performance showcase

Celebrate growth on stage without tying every routine to a promotion decision.

Calendar order through the year: move-up → performance → move-up → performance (Fall through Summer). Exact dates vary; coaches and the desk confirm which night is which.

Competitive team

Team by invitation

Competitive gymnastics with us is by invitation. Coaches extend invitations when an athlete is thriving in both academy and performance—this map is here so families see why those two pillars matter long before an invite.
