The story begins in March of 2020...
Coach Matt had a clear vision and seized a unique opportunity. With his extensive experience coaching gymnastics in the community, he recognized the need for a superior quality of coaching. His passion for teaching and desire to elevate the gymnastics experience led him to embark on this new endeavor.
With a dedicated group of 12 students, Coach Matt set out to begin his journey by launching an online training program. As the months passed, he continued to search for the ideal location to establish his program. By July, he was able to secure a backyard as a temporary training space, allowing him to provide continuity in instruction for his students as he continued to search for the perfect building.
In March 2021, Coach Matt’s hard work and perseverance paid off as he finally located the ideal building to host his gymnastics program, a pivotal moment in the fruition of his vision.
Coach Matt has been a devoted gymnast since the age of 8, rising through the ranks to earn a spot on the Future Stars National Team at the age of 10. This was just the beginning of his competitive achievements as he went on to make several appearances at the Junior Olympic National Championships. He continued to hone his skills and showcase his talent at Temple University during his college years.
With a natural inclination towards teaching, he began coaching gymnastics at the young age of 14, drawing inspiration from his parents’ careers in education. His deep understanding of the sport, competitive experience and his family background as educators has led him to develop as a coach. His passion for teaching makes him an excellent role model and mentor for the young gymnasts.
